Jane wanted a cherry party for her 8th birthday. I found some darling white cherry fabric at JoAnns...unfortunately when i got it home, it was a tich thin. I wanted to use the Hannah dress again, as I love the collar and it feels a little 50s retro to me, especially with the cherries. I had to figure out how to line it...I winged it, and it came out great. I found some darling polkadot buttons in my stash, and tried out some mini-pop trim for the arms and hemline. Super sweetness! I didn't think I could figure out sizing it down for a doll dress, so I just used the Oliver+S popover, and made it much fuller. She was ecstatic to have an almost matching dress.
