Scrapbook Circle Project in Progress...

Well, I've been wanting to show what I've been working on with my goodies from ScrapbookCircle. I'm just LOVING the stuff from Girls Paperie; it was all new to me...and it was perfect for the photos from the trip I just took with my girls...and my mom...and my grandma. Four generations girls trip; I'm so lucky, and I'm so glad that my girls get to spend time with their grandma and great-grandma. We went up to Michigan's thumb for just a couple of days. I've had these little car shaped chipboard albums in my drawer for awhile, and when I saw the map paper and travel embellies-perfect! I also used some free downloaded travel journaling spots from this month's ScrapbooksEtc Magazine. Lots of sanding of paper and photos, and I used a photo marker to do all the black lines and journaling. I printed the journaling spots on photo paper, so it's a bit glossy. Used some of the tags and diecuts for the wheels on some (as well as the requisite starbucks logo for our breakfast page!). The little word stickers are just perfect for this mini-album. They let me get some 'comments' onto the pages without having to write too much. I also used some of these on an album I just made for my husband. We celebrated TEN years last night-isn't that awesome?! I still need to take a photo of that album and upload it...it's simple, just a page with a b/w photo from each of the 10 years we've been married, but I used a few of these stickers on each page as well. Anyway, I've got a couple more pages of this car album to get finished, but probably won't happen til after all the celebrating for 4th of July this weekend. I wanted to give some ideas if you're working on any travel or vacation photos this summer! When it's all finished, I'll post a pic of the rest of the pages, and the whole album sitting together. I'm super excited to have it out in my living room to flip through this summer.

Have an awesome 4th of July!
