Hexy

I had a few hexagons that I cut back when I made a floor i-spy for the girls, and figured it would make a nice gift for my nephew's upcoming 1st birthday (I know he's smart, but assuming he's not reading and surfing the web yet, so should be safe to post a photo!).  I did triangles between the hexagons in the past, but saw a tutorial for machine sewing them together.  I'm not so in love with the hexagons anymore...fussy work, and I think it's a little jiggy in spots.  I do love the rainbow color scheme, I did have to search out a few more hexagons to get everything somewhere in the color palette, but it does help give the crazy novelty prints a little sense of direction.  Hopefully he'll love it and play on it frequently!
